NASA's List: Space Exploration Mission Up To 2036

Have you ever thought of what was happening inside the NASA's lab? Unlike before, space exploration is growing at an incredible rate, as man will see space missions that will bring findings that are very possible to change the way we perceive our solar system, planets and the whole universe. Starting from the first Manned mission to the planet Mars to the development of space nations. The next couple of decades will have it all.

 NASA's List: Space Exploration Mission Up To 2036

Below is the list of NASA's future space missions that are projected to continue until 2036.

For 2017:
  1. Lightsail 2 of the Planetary Society is said to be launched this March. This will show the technology that is related to solar sailing systems.
  2. A private company called Asgardia will launch their unmanned satellite and they also have plans to begin a research on making a space-based nation.
  3. AN unmanned Crew Dragon Vehicle is said to be launched this November by SpaceX.
  4. In December, Russia will launch a Multipurpose Laboratory Module into space which is set for the International Space Station.
  5. NASA will also launch a Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite to search for far away planets this December.
  6. Also, a Characterising Exoplanets Satellite will be launch on the same momth.
  7. Lastly, Moon Express, China’s Change 5, Space IL and Google’s Lunar XPRIZE is moon bound but Change 5 is the only one to return to bring back moon samples.

  1. In April, the BepiColombo will be launched by the European Space Agency. This is Europe's primary mission to the planet Mercury.
  2. In May, the Insight probe will be launched to go to Mars to allow scientist to study the planets internal framework.
  3. SpaceX is also set to launch on May. This is an unmanned mission to Mars.
  4. To allow the scientists to observe the Sun from its upper atmosphere, the Solar Probe Mission is set to launch in July.
  5. To replace the Hubble telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope is set to launch in October.
  6. On the same month of October, the Solar orbiter by the European Space Agency will be launched to help the scientist learn more about the Sun's poles, solar winds and its heliosphere.

  1. In October, to supply the International Space Station with unpressurized and pressurized cargo, the Sierra Nevada Corporation aims to launch a space aircraft named Dream Chaser.
  2. There is also a possibility that the Virgin Galactic may begin sending its customers to space.

  1. NASA will send its rover to Mars for the mission dubbed as Mars 2020, its main purpose is to investigate the past of Mars. This is scheduled to happen in July
  2. Also in July, a mission to study the past and present life of Mars is scheduled by Europe's Exmoor.
  3. United Arab Emirates will also send Hope, a Mars orbiter in July.
  4. China is also planning to launch its 1st mission to Mars in between July and August.
  5. To provide data on the possibility of altering an asteroids path if a spacecraft hits it, NASA along with ESA might launch the Asteroid Impact Mission.

  1. NASA is planning to send Lucy spacecraft to the Trojan's asteroids of Jupiter in October.

  1. To examine the moons of Jupiter, The European Space Agency aims to launch a spacecraft that is expected to access Jupiter's orbit around 2033.
  2. Tiangong-3, China's first module is planned to be launched for the International Space Station.
  3. In 2022, NASA will launch Europa's multiple flyby missions that will let the scientists to study the celestial body up close.
  4. Japan aims to launch a Phobos mission, one of Mars’ moons.
  5. After the announcement made in 2012, between 2022 and 2032, Mars One haw suggested to send a fully manned spacecraft to Mars.

NASA Space Exploration

  1. To examine a resourceful asteroid named Psyche, NASA may scheduled a Psyche mission. Though the spacecraft may not reach the asteroid for 7 years.

  1. To start the very 1st interplanetary transport system, SpaceX may launch their very first manned mission to planet Mars.
  2. A return mission to Phobos, one of the moon of Mars is set by the European Space Agency.
  3. We may see the closing of the International Space Station during this year but this can vary.
  4. To search for a planet like Earth, the European Space Agency plans to launch a satellite that is programmed to look for Earth-like planets. This is dubbed Planetary Transits & Oscillations of Stars.

  1. A mission to bring back material from Mars to Earth in planned.
  2. To examine the dark energy and to look for Earth-like planet, NASA is set to launch a telescope in this year.

  1.  During this year, NASA has planned to launch a mission to see astronauts approach an asteroid in a lunar orbit.

  1. A telescope will be launched by the European Space Agency that will layout the hot gases in space, and to also examine giant black holes.

  1. On this year, NASA said that they might send people to orbit Mars and a possibility to land on the moons of the Red planet. Another possibility is a plan to land a manned mission on Mars.

  3. A plan to launch a spacecraft that may touch Mercury's surface is stated by the Russia's space program.

  1. A private organization called Breakthrough Initiatives plans to launch a spacecraft to leave and go to the nearest star called Proxima Centauri.
