Russia Challenges US To Prove Hacking Allegations

Putin Versus Obama

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed the accusations claiming that Russia intervened in the recently held presidential elections in the United States through the unauthorized access and distribution of critical information from various political groups and entities, calling the whole thing "indecent" and "groundless."

"They should either stop talking about that, or produce some proof at least. Otherwise it all begins to look unseemly," Peskov allegedly stated.

In an interview with the National Public Radio (NPR), President Barack Obama assured that there will be retaliation following the scandalous revelation alleging that US intelligence groups have connected the election-related hacking to high ranking Russian officials.

"I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections that we need to take action, and we will at a time and place of our own choosing," Obama declares.

While there have been multiple demands on both sides for further investigation into Russia's supposed involvement with the hacks, President-elect Donald Trump continues to brush off the allegations that Russia has moved to tip the scales into his favor, and calls into question the accuracy of the intelligence report.
