In the 189th chapter of the 20th volume of the manga, two characters are introduced. The two characters were named Oingo and Boingo. They are antagonists and they planned to eliminate Jotaro Kujo, the main character of the series. Oingo have the ability to change his facial structures ala Mission Impossible spy, while Boingo possess clairvoyance. Boingo can predict the future by viewing his metafictional manga. The 9/11 prediction was manifested in Boingo's metafictional manga. Oingo's powers of deception might be a metaphor of the inside job conspiracies since Oingo can change his face thus, the symbol of espionage.

A premonition or a merely unconscious artistic impulse? In the 2015 anime adaptation, the airplane is still intact, but the 9/11 is removed. There is another shocking coincidence from Boingo's manga, the premonition states 10:30 and a sun is present so it's A.M, merely 2 minutes advanced compared to the time of collapse of the 2nd of the Twin Towers. The time is 10:28AM. Many fans have noticed these coincidences and even the author(Hirohiko Araki) was interviewed about the nature of his supposed prediction. He says that he can't recall his motives when he drew Boingo's prediction, and he was even shocked to know that he unconsciously predicted one of the tragedies that shook the world in the past decade.
